Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of travelers from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from 2019, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from the year before.

Before the COVID-19 outbreak we had been celebrating record-breaking figures of the number of tourists entering Israel each month.
Canada is set to beat Israel's tourism arrivals by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.
"It is thrilling to see how tourism from Canada to Israel is growing," said Gal Hana, Consul and Director for Canada for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are not far off our record-setting numbers in 2019, and we are anticipating that the growth in travel to Israel will further increase as Canadians remain at ease travelling abroad."
Israel received more visitors from around the world in the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of them were Americans. Israel's official reopening for all tourists was in May of 2018. The country has already received more than 600,400 US travelers since then.
